SCARCE OLD REPORT!! FAST SELLER WHEN I CAN GET ONE!!This is USGS Bulletin 1131,
Geology and Mineral Deposits of the Turtle Lake Quadrangle, Washington
. Published in 1963, there can't be many of these around. It consists of a 73-page book AND ALL SIX OF THE ORIGINAL MAPS. One of the maps is a large full color map. The area of this study covers parts of Stevens and Lincoln counties.
Some of the maps are of specific mine workings. One shows underground workings! You know those beautifully fluorescent meta-autunite crystals from Washington? But there were not just uranium mines in the area.
There were also tungsten, copper, barite, lead-zinc, molybdenum, and coal mines and prospects
, which are also detailed within the book. This publication covers the complete geologic setting of the area.
