. Published in 1963, this is a scarce and interesting work, seldom seen on Ebay. This report consists of the 30 page
book and the original large color map. This report examines the formations laid down by lake Bonneville in the area around the south end of Utah Lake. This area is west and southwest of Provo which is in the top right of the map area. Springville and Payson are also on the map. The map is a pretty cool looking, large, full color map and would look great framed in a business in the area.
The development and evolution of Lake Bonneville into Utah Lake and other lakes over time is an interesting story, and the color map helps make the picture clear.  It's amazing what's underfoot that we don't even know about, but this report pieces it all together. This would be of interest to local residents or anyone interested in Utah geology. It is a nice scarce item, and
popular
because of the cities nearby.
