    . Published in 1965 this is a pretty rare item. This 25-page publication contains information on dozens of mines and districts where uranium minerals have been mined. It describes the occurrence of the uranium ore in these locales with especial detail on the faults, fractures systems, and veins where it is found.
    This would be great guide to any mineral collector looking to add colorful uranium minerals to their collections or even to serious prospectors looking to profit from the current uranium boom. This book contains numerous photos of underground and open pit mines. It is a scarce publication that should be of interest to mineral collectors, especially those in western states where the majority of the deposits are located. Don’t miss it – I hardly ever see these.
