    This is USGS Bulletin 1087-B, “
    Uranium Resources of the Cedar Mountain Area, Emery County, Utah - A Regional Synthesis
    .” Published in 1959, this is a scarce item I have never had before. This 36-page book offers a great look at this uranium district. Rather than discussing a single deposit, it looks at the whole area, discussing the various formations and subunits that host uranium deposits to varying extents. There is a section on the mining history of the area, as well as another on the mineralogy of the area's uranium deposits. Some have vanadium, others have copper in addition to the uranium. Several maps of various areas help fill in the details, and a couple show the locations of mines.
    It is a great book that could steer you toward some cool mineral finds.
    I'm sure some pretty interesting opportunities await someone willing to give this book a good look!
