    This is USGS Bulletin 922-F,
Tungsten Deposits of Boulder County, Colorado
. Published in 1940, there can't be many of these around. The publication consists of a 22-page book and both of the original geologic maps! This is an interesting and old publication on a historic mining district. This area was known for excellent specimens of sparkling black ferberite. In addition, a number of other minerals occur in the tungsten veins; check out this long list of cool minerals, drawn from the text:
    Hematite
    Magnetite
    Fluorite
    Dickite
    Ankerite
    Siderite
    Barite
    Pyrite
    Marcasite
    Calcite
    Galena
    Sphalerite
    Friebergite
    Tetrahedrite
    Miargyrite
    Adularia
    Montmorillonite
    Halloysite
    Beidellite
    Scheelite
    Opal
    Quartz
This area was an important domestic source of tungsten for many years. One of the maps is a regional map and the other is more detailed, showing the locations of many of the veins, and also the surrounding geology in three colors. The big map (shown as the backdrop in the picture) also shows the locations of gold and silver veins in the area. The book also contains level maps of some of the underground workings. This is a great opportunity to own a rare geologic publication.
