    Description

DON'T LET THE TITLE SCARE YOU OFF!!
This is a really cool book containing 290 short articles on the occurrence of uranium in sandstone-type deposits. The goal was to summarize scientific
    articles
on such deposits and have all the summaries under one cover. That means that there are summaries of articles about uranium at locations nationwide, and many of them contain additional information about other minerals at the same sites. Makes for great armchair reading for the uranium enthusiast, or a great starting point for research on uranium locations for any mineral collector. There is something here for
    everyone
, and I took pictures of several of the pages to give you an idea what's inside. Have a look - It is pretty good stuff.
    It is USGS Bulletin 1059-C,
Selected Annotated Bibliography of the Geology of Sandstone-type Uranium Deposits in the United States
. Published in 1957, this is a scarce item I have never had before. There are 117 pages of article summaries in this great book, with lots of focus on the desert areas of
Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, and Arizona
, but the following states also have articles as well!
    California
    Missouri
    Montana
    Nevada
    New Jersey!
    Oklahoma
    Pennsylvania
    Texas
    Virginia
    South Dakota
There are several indexes, including by state, author, subjects, and formations mentioned. It is a great book that could steer you toward some cool mineral finds.
I'm sure some pretty interesting opportunities await someone willing to give this book a good look!
