    . Published in 1940, this is a rare one! This publication consists of the 36-page book and both of the original color maps, which are in a pocket in the back of the book. All are in excellent condition. Several deposits are discussed in the book, including:
    Old Diggings claim
    Come and Get It claim
    Black Cub #1 and #2 claims
    And numerous others
    I noticed that one of the minerals occurring in the deposits is uvarovite, that stunningly green garnet that is so pretty. If I lived closer I’d give the area a shot just for a chance to find some. This publication makes not only a great guide for the collector wanting to visit these areas, but also a unique historical record of the mining in these areas. This is a rare opportunity for the collector of Oregon minerals, the historian, or anyone that wants to give the area a crack!
