This 29-page book published in 1919 details the deposits, resources, and uses of high grade silica mined in New York. High grade silica is generally comprised of quartz,a dn was sourced from certain quartzites, sandstones, and conglomerates. There are some interesting locales discussed in the text in several sections. The book also contains numerous photos of microscope slides of silica rocks from these locales. There is some interesting history related to production and uses. Originally issued in soft covers, this was rebound in hard covers, but still has the original covers inside. A nice example of the scare old book.
