    his 85-page book delves into the geology and origin of the unusual iron deposits in this area of the Adirondacks.
    The iron deposits in these deposits had been hotly debates for years, with a number of incompatible theories for their origin. This author dug into the issue even deeper, and with additional insights from new mine exposures, added his ideas with this report. It details the occurrence, mineralogy, structural relations, and other aspects of the geology to come up with one story to account for it all. Filled with drawings and diagrams, this book is loaded with interesting observations.
    A cool, rare book for the New York mineral collector, local resident, or historian. Rare to find a vintage copy in the original covers.
