Geologic Map and Sections of the Southern Cherry Creek and Northern Egan Ranges, White Pine County, Nevada
. Published in 1968, this is a great full color map of this interesting area. The geology is complex with many Paleozoic carbonate units exposed in typical tilted structural blocks of the Great Basin. Within the ranges there are additional complicating faults, thrust faults, and late granitic intrusions in some areas. The mapping is fairly detailed and the map comes with several detailed cross sections that really make the geology clear. T
his is a classic map you just don't see around much these days. Get this one while you can!
