Viva Las Vegas! We have several mouthpieces that were custom made for Las Vegas players including this custom trumpet mouthpiece, made for Las Vegas trumpet artist and personality Lon Bronson! Lon is one of the most visible and outspoken musicians in the Vegas community.
Emmy-nominated Lon Bronson is one of the most highly sought after musicians in the country; functioning as musical director, trumpeter, conductor, arranger/composer, and producer for national TV, headline performers, production shows, and large-scale corporate events.
Lon has served as musical director to a wide range of celebrities – from David Cassidy and Faith Hill, to Triumph The Insult Comic Dog and ‘The Rat Pack Is Back’. He is currently the Conductor for ‘The Symphonic Rock Show’; and his eponymous ensemble The Lon Bronson Band is a long running and very successful Las Vegas institution. Lon was selected to conduct the orchestra for Caesars Palace 50th Anniversary Gala Concert, which featured such luminaries as Jennifer Lopez, Donny & Marie, Bill Medley and Tony Bennett. What a show!
Lon’s primary vehicle for bringing world-class music to Las Vegas has been The Lon Bronson Band. This iconic 14 piece high energy horn band is well known nationally for their eclectic mix of 'industrial strength' rock, soul, & blues. Founded in 1990, they remain Vegas’ longest running band, with national broadcast credits that include performances on HBO, TBS and Comedy Central. The LBB has also recorded with the legendary Tower of Power. Actor-comedian Drew Carey once famously said of them, “This is a house band so good, you’ll never want to leave the house”.
The Lon Bronson 1 mouthpiece is a Conn 4 rim contour blended to a Shew 1.5 cup. The Shew 1.5 cup is close to the familiar 5C, and is quite popular. At one time, the Conn 4 was that company's most popular seller, and that comfortable rim contour is why. Specs:
