    Description

You are bidding on a vintage geological map and brochure of the Norwegian island of Edgeoya, the south-western-most major island of the Svalbard archipelago, bordering the Greenland Sea, the Arctic Ocean and the Barents Sea.
The map was published in 1981 by the Norwegian Polar Institute and is portrayed in monochrome, with an accompanying geological writeup. The scale is 1:500,000. The map is one of a set of four. It is sheet 2G of a set of four
It is in excellent condition. and except for occasional opening for information, it is like brand new. It was housed in an institutional library which closed. I worked extensively in the Arctic and used it, but only for occasional reference.
Shipping includes a "stiffener" to keep the postal people from damaging it.
I will combine shipping charges if you buy more than one of my items.
Thanks for looking and good luck!
